Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience, especially because of the picturesque location next to a massive lake, Hennesee lake. I enjoyed waking up to the beautiful lake view in the morning and having a delicious breakfast with a huge variety of food choices presented nicely. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Internet was advertised as free. In reality, the free internet was limited to 50 mb per day. If you need more, you have to pay € 3.90 per day. Some corridors had a strange muffy smell. This is the first hotel that charged us for milk for babies.

Bookings.com indicate Sky tv/ fresh fruit in room/ newspapers; none of these available. Bookings.com indicate wifi throughout hotel. Not so as we had to move room to achieve a signal.

During Christmas, I had a great time at this hotel. The lake views from the room were breathtaking and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and the local wine selection was a nice touch. the hotel was located conveniently close to the town center and bike rentals were available for a full day of exploring the beautiful surroundings.

The hotel was a bit outdated and in need of some renovations in certain areas, particularly the bathrooms which were not up to par. some amenities advertised were not available, such as the bar and biergarten which were closed during my stay.

though professional Hotel staff, reception in particular, should make some more effort making guests feel welcome. Only time i received a smile was when handed over the invoice.

We had a great city break weekend at this hotel near the Sauerland area. the rooms were spacious, clean, and offered a nice view of the surrounding nature. We loved the fact that there was a lake nearby that we could explore and enjoy some hikes in the area. the breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a variety of options well prepared.

the bathroom amenities were disappointing, with cheap soap and a plastic shower curtain.

Dinner buffet was quite disappointing, especially the dessert buffet was no more a fridge with a small slection of industrially made icecreams + 2 tasteless puddings. There isn't really much to do in the area, apart from swimming in the lake or visiting the Warsteiner brewery.

This hotel is perfect for those looking for a peaceful stay amidst beautiful surroundings. the location of the hotel next to the serene lake offers a relaxing atmosphere. the spacious and clean rooms provide a comfortable stay. the breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious and fresh food for a great start to the day.

The spa facilities could use some renovation to match the hotel's standard of facilities.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location near the lake was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed breathtaking views and beautiful sunsets right from our room's terrace. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a huge bathroom and an amazing shower/bath that felt like a luxurious spa experience. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of choices to start our day right.

All in all, we highly recommend this place to everyone.
